The unique Infant/Child Key eliminates the expense of purchasing pediatric pads. The key is used only with the FRx AED when treating an infant or child who is under 55 lbs or 8 years old. Once the Infant/Child Key is inserted, the FRx automatically reduces the energy and provides voice and CPR coaching specifically geared for treatment of infants/children. Graphics on the key show proper pad placement.
The Philips AED FRx Child/Infant key allows the adult pads to be used on pediatrics. You can now use your FRX AED on children and adults with only one set of pads. A big cost savings. A great option for schools!
