Biomedical & EMS Equipment Service Repair
Coast Biomedical services many of the popular hospital and EMS devices from yearly preventative maintenance checks to full device overhaul. All of the work is done at our San Diego biomed facility where our factory trained technicians perform function tests to determine the route of the problem while also inspecting the device for any physical damage to repair EMS & biomedical equipment. Preventative maintenance is billed based off of a flat rate fee. If there are any other parts or labor required beyond the preventative maintenance, a quote will be provided to the customer before the work is completed to ensure customer approval and satisfaction.

Reliable Service from Factory Trained and Certified Technicians
All of our technicians are factory trained and certified. In addition to manufacturer certifications, our technicians also carry the title of Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET) which is certified by The International Certification Commission (ICC) and The United States Certification Commission (USCC) for Clinical Engineering and Biomedical Technology.
Expected Equipment Maintenance & Service Turn Around Time
Normal turnaround for preventative maintenance and calibration from receipt of the device is 5-7 days. In the case of devices that need more service, the customer will be notified of an estimated ship date which in most cases will be 7-10 days as long as parts are available.
Warranty
Biomedical Equipment Repair Service Warranty
All repair service of EMS & biomedical equipment completed will carry a 1 year warranty from the date of invoice. This warranty will cover the repair completed by Coast Biomedical Equipment. A failure within the device not related to the original repair will not be covered under the 1 year service warranty.
In certain circumstances Coast Biomedical will provide a loaner device while the customer owned unit is returned for warranty.
